Guardiola: Everything is in our hands, and Liverpool will win the title in this case

Pep Guardiola

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola appeared in a press statement, after the 2-2 draw against West Ham in the 37th round of the Premier League, at the "London Olympic Stadium".

Guardiola said: "I can assure you one thing: our stadium will be very noisy and we will give them all our lives, they will give us all their lives, for 95 minutes, it is a privilege to win the last game at your stadium to win the title."

  •  He added: "What is your message to Southampton? You have to beat Liverpool 4-0."

  •  And he added: "I invite all the people, all the fans in Manchester on that day: go to the streets, go to the stadium, because we will do everything we can to win the title, I'm sure of that."

  •  He added, "When a team the size of Liverpool competes, you cannot win the Premier League before four rounds, so you have to fight to the end. The great advantage is that we will play the last round in our stadium and everything is in our hands."

  •  He continued: "It was a good match, the chances were very difficult. Very happy to come back with the result, it is very difficult to control Antonio, we scored an early goal, and we were good in the second half, and we got a point."

  •  And he continued: “There is no discussion about the goal difference between us and Liverpool, and there is no argument about anything, we just have to win in the last round, and if we don’t do that, Liverpool will be the Premier League champion.”

  •  He concluded: "The players have desire, and they want to win against Aston Villa and win the title. That's why we proved it at Wolverhampton and we proved that today, we will prove that we deserve the title."

  •  Manchester City needs to win against Aston Villa in the last round in order to win the title, knowing that Liverpool will play on Monday against Southampton in this round, and will play against Wolverhampton in the last round.
